The Muda del Trafego was headed for Tunis and, skirting Africa as far as Alexandria in Egypt, arrived in Beirut. Loads of citrus fruits were imported along this route, together with precious raw materials such as citrine sandalwood, oregano, myrtle, lentisk and black mustard.
