Inspiration
N°19, the other symbolic number of CHANEL.

The last perfume created and worn by Gabrielle Chanel. A fragrance that pays homage to her birth date, August 19, 1883.
When she came up with the idea of creating this new women's perfume, Coco faced resistance from her entourage: no one believed a new fragrance could coexist with N°5. Coco was stubborn and commissioned Henri Robert to create a bold composition as intense as N°5. The result? A completely different olfactory score: a daring combination of green and powdery notes. Mademoiselle died a few weeks after the launch of this new fragrance, on January 10, 1971.

"To be irreplaceable, you have to be different": the fragrance N°19 represents the latest sensational gesture of this extraordinary, bold and sunny woman.
