The Byzantium Saffron fragrance expresses its strength through a vibrant red bottle. The dazzling design gives the strong impression of the precious Saffron contained in the fragrance. It is decorated with a golden tassel and a translucent white cap through which we can see the compass rose.

Byzantium Saffron draws inspiration from the Muda della Tana and Romania.

The Muda della Tana and Romania sailed along the Greek coasts, stopping in the cities of Athens before reaching Constantinople and continuing towards the Black Sea. Among the main raw materials traded in this area, musk, nutmeg, saffron, and benzoin resin extracted from the storax plant were of particular importance for the Venetian market.
